Our Purpose
The Pentecostals of Stone Mountain is a ministry that serves. We purpose to make disciples – disciples who are mature in Christ – disciples with the heart of Christ ---Servants. Our process and purpose to discipleship and spiritual maturity is Encounter God – Connect with Others – Grow in Faith – Serve the World
The Mission
To fulfill the great commission of Christ by using His example of love and compassion for people as we impact our community, our city, our state, our country and our world with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Vision
- A place where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, healing, deliverance and encouragement.
- A place where the whole Gospel is preached without compromise to hundreds of thousands of residents in the Stone Mountain area.
- To welcome thousands of members into the fellowship of our church family.
- A place that resembles heaven, an international church. A place where every race and culture is represented.
- A place where holiness is pursued as we mirror God’s image. “Be ye Holy for I am Holy”. Leviticus 11:45.
- To help people reach their maximum potential in God (spiritual maturity) through Bible Studies, Small Groups, Seminars and Retreats.
- A place where believers are “Fishers of Men”, impacting their family, friends, classmates, co-workers, employers and neighbors through Evangelism.
- A place where children, teens, and young adults are developed through ministries that are on their level and up to date and influenced by the Holy Ghost.
- To build or renovate a church in Stone Mountain area, including a worship center, classrooms for training, a recreation center for our children and youth, a Christian School and daycare, a “City of Refuge” for the homeless, and a counseling center to minister to our city.
- To start at least one new daughter church every year, to send out ministers as pastors, evangelists and missionaries to reach a lost world.
